NOTICE TO CYCLISTS
Students are reminded that they should not ride their bicycles whilst on school grounds due to the amount of traffic around the area. Cyclists who continue to do so will be issued a detention if found not to be following this important guideline.

Lost Property
Students are reminded that after a period of time, any lost property that is not named, and has not been claimed, is sent to charitable organisations and due to storage constraints, are not held indefinitely in the caretakers office (located opposite the girls toilets).

Uniform Reminders
Well done for remembering not to wear hoodies or trainers to school! We do need to remind you that your socks should be black and not brightly coloured or striped. You already know that you are not allowed facial piercings in school and you will be made to remove facial “decorations”. Remember also that you are only allowed natural hair colours and not pink, blue hair etc.

LATENESS
At intervals we do a special Late check and we are pleased that this week fewer students have been late than at the same time last year. Let’s keep on improving as we want you here in school benefitting from your education and not building up a record of lates that won’t make you look good to future employers or college interviewers.

A reminder of the procedure, when you are feeling ill at school:

- Ask your teacher to sign you out of the lesson with a written note/permission slip.

- Report with this to Student Support Office.

- The staff will then make contact with parents to collect you if it is appropriate.

- Do not make the call yourself from your mobile phones. This always creates complications, as we still need to confirm any arrangements that have been made with parents, before we can let you go.
